Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig 21st September, 1983). 21, 1983) is a famous American actor. Most notably, she played Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost television show, and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. After her parents divorced, she relocated with her mother to Los Angeles. She was struggling to make ends meet and was offered her first role in acting as Rachel's Room's lead character. Her performance in the role of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the TV movie Murder in Greenwich in 2002, earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost TV show in 2004. The show featured her as the principal character for two seasons and also won a Screen Actors Guild Award. After leaving the show, Grace would like to be as a film actress, and had been cast as the opposite of Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. She also appeared as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and also, as the Liam Neeson character Kim Mills as Kim Mills in Taken. In 2008, she played the same role on Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace played Shannon's part on Lost for two additional episodes. This included the finale of the series. The year 2013 saw Grace appear in Californianation, the sixth Season. The actress plays Faith an actress in a group and as her muse to the stars, who catches the eye of Hank Moody played by David Duchovny. Gyllenhaal is a part of the family, and is the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. In her teens her career began as a small part-time actress for her father. She also appeared in Donnie Darko alongside her twin brother. In 2002, she appeared as a character on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. She also appeared on Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her leading roles in Secretary (2002, erotic romantic drama) as well as Sherrybaby (606) Both of which earned their Golden Globe Award nods. Her fame grew when she portrayed Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) as well as a number of successful commercial films she starred in the year 2006. The role she played in Crazy Heart as a mother who has a child received her a nomination to an Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. The subsequent roles she has played include Nanny McPhee as well as The Big Bang and Hysteria. Other parts include acting as a Secret Service agent for The Secret Service in White House Down 2013, as a singer in Frank 2014 and as a singer as a singer in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she is the main character. Gyllenhaal's debut as a writer and director was in 2021 with The Lost Daughter, a psychological thriller for which she received an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award.
