Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December, 1991. The son of Manny James along with Patty James of mixed race. Her mother is caucasian and his father Nigerian. He graduated in 2010 at Sanderson High School. In 2015, he earned the Bachelor of Economics degree from Wake Forest University. James gained fame when the show The Bachelorette as a reality TV star. In the year 2020, he was selected to play the role of bachelor on The Bachelor's season 25 becoming the initial African American male lead which was later aired in 2021. James is a great fit to the job because he is handsome well-rounded tall and has a sense of comedy. Rachael Krukconnell became his love interest at the conclusion of the season. He teamed up with the famous dancing star Arnold in 2021 to compete in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold finished 12th.
